Who’s This Hoosier Mandy Chick?

Hello there! I’m Amanda. Stay at home mother of three. Proud Hoosier. Painfully slow marathoner. Political instigator. And general ruckus rouser. Generally, I post on here on Thursdays give or take a day, week or century. There’s nothing better than a good laugh, so I try to elicit some chuckles, or at least smiles, with my blog. After staying at home with the kids for a fourth of my life, I need some type of unmedicated release.

I’ve also started writing a column every Tuesday for our local Southern Indiana paper, The News and Tribune. Check out their website at newsandtribune.com. I love to write, but it’s hard to find the time with three young children. Even with the kids, it seems I always seem to get into trouble. And, oh boy, do I have some stories.

Hope you enjoy my musings.

Please feel free to e-mail me at HoosierMandyBlog@gmail.com if you have any questions, comments or suggestions!

    Amanda,
Some real food for thought in reading your article on “American Awareness for an Arab uprising” in the News and Tribune (yesterday). Your prophetic message hopefully will make Americans truly engaged on what’s taking place with the “fighting Bashar Al-Assad regime.” And, as you say, “no matter how far we are separated, will ultimately have implications for us all.” Thanks for the timely article and the way you presented its implications of al-Quaida establishing a strong hold in Syria and what it eventually might mean for our country.
